What We Offer

• Our Educational Psychologist works closely with each teacher and class, making sure developmental milestones are met, identifying delays and giving emotional and practical support.
• Half day, Three-quarter day or Full day programme ( 7:00 - 12:30/14.45/17:30)
• Our shaded outdoor play areas with imported and locally made jungle gyms, sandpits, trampoline and rubberized bike track offer ample opportunity for exploratory and creative play.
• A large OT designed indoor play venue for those cold, rainy days.

• Our wonderful nature and sensory corner is placed around a big tree and provides sensory experiences with natural objects like rocks, logs, tree stumps, shrubs, sticks, wood chips etc.
• A little farmyard with bunnies, chicken and a vegetable patch that all our children help tend to.
• Computer room with computer programmes for kids from 18 months. Computer lessons occur twice a week and are included in school fees.
• Bugs and Beetles is open throughout the year with a fun holiday programme running during the (ISASA) private school holiday times (inclusive in school fees). Our School only closes for 4 weeks during the Dec/Jan school holidays.
• Fees include a healthy morning snack, a balanced lunch and an afternoon snack.
• Art, stationery and baking equipment are also included in the fees.
• Comprehensive bi-annual reports and parents evenings provide in-depth insight into your child’s progress.

• We have a yearly Mother’s day, Father’s day and Grandparents day celebration where family come and spend the morning at school. We also have a big Sports day, Bikeathon event and yearly picnic at our school. We make sure to celebrate all events and love our end of year Big concert, Heritage day, Love Day, Mandela day and our annual Birthday Bash. Father Christmas and the Easter bunny come to visit too.
• All our classes have a wide range of educational toys. Black, white and peg boards, puzzles, shapes and educational games, unifix blocks and loads of perceptual games are available in every class.

• Every class has a book corner, dress up and doll corner as well as a fantasy corner: kitchen, puppet theatre, doll house, baby changing station and a grocery store to name just a few.
• Our full day children enjoy a full, busy aftercare programme that includes art, gross motor, sensory and baking activities.
• We have different extra murals at our school in the afternoons such as karate, dancing and pottery. This is set up during a time that never interferes with class or play time!
• We are a fully ECD compliant school.
• All of the teachers are qualified and both the teachers and assistants have valid first aid training and certificates. 2 of our staff are also qualified level 1 fire fighters. All of the staff have police clearance.
• The school has clearance certificates for health and fire.
• Our school has an on-site security guard that helps control traffic during drop off and pick-up times.
• We are part of the Mamba security group and have alarms and panic buttons placed throughout the school.
• Our school is also part of Emer-G-Med emergency services
• Cameras have been placed throughout the school to help protect our children and staff.
